Application for Books from Reading Aliance

Because of a partnership with the Literacy Council, the Fort Wayne Area PTA Council has 500 books available for distribution to out member units. The reading level is between K-2. Click here to download the application form and turn it in by December 14th if your school would like to receive some of these books.

PTA "Positives"

The Fort Wayne Area PTA Council is asking that you share any ideas, programs, organizational methods, etc. that you think would be helpful to other PTA’s in the FWAC. Click here to download the form and turn it in by January 22nd.

The Purposes of the Parent Teacher Association To promote the welfare of the children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship. To raise the standards of home life. To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth. To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth. To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.
