Bright Ideas

Submit a "Bight Idea" to share with other PTAs.

The 2007-2008 Glenwood Park PTA Fundraising theme is "Branch Out With Books." Our goal is to raise enough money to purchase 2,500 books for the kids to use in the classrooms. Learning to read is probably the single most important factor in school success, and nothing contributes to success in early literacy as much as early exposure to books.

We will have a chart posted in the hall, near the office, marking the success of our fundraising efforts. When the chart reaches the 500 book mark, and each additional 500 book mark following, we will celebrate with a special guest reader who will read their favorite book to all of the students at Glenwood Park.
